Lavender Butterfly Peeking from Yellow Frame

About this design

Flutter into spring with this charming embroidery design of a friendly butterfly breaking out of its frame. The butterfly has a round lavender head with tiny dark eyes and a soft pink nose, a segmented lavender body with navy stripe details, and two long black antennae that curl into spirals above the top of a pale yellow square border. Its large open wings, outlined in pastel pink, spread wide past both sides of the frame, creating a fun, dimensional out-of-the-box effect while letting the background fabric show through for a light, airy look. Stitched in smooth fill stitches with crisp navy outlines, bean-style wing outlines, and a satin stitch frame, the design has a clean, modern, cartoon-style look. Its square shape makes it perfect for spring and garden quilt blocks and patchwork projects, and it also works beautifully on throw pillows, girls' t-shirts, onesies, baby blankets, tote bags, kitchen towels, wall hangings, and framed hoop art. It makes a sweet gift for baby showers, spring birthdays, butterfly-themed parties, teachers, and girls' room decor. Pair it with the matching framed bee, bunny, kitten, and mouse designs for a coordinated set. Compatible with popular embroidery machine formats including DST, PES, EXP, JEF, VP3, HUS, XXX, PEC, and more.
