Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using EmbroidAI.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how EmbroidAI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website, applications, embroidery digitizing tools, file viewers, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account data — the email address and credentials you provide when you register and sign in.
  • Files & content — the artwork, images, and embroidery files (such as DST, PES, EXP, JEF, and VP3) you upload, along with the designs, previews, and output files generated from them.
  • Contact information — the name, email, company, subject, and message you submit through our contact form or feedback features.
  • Usage data — information about how you interact with the Service, including pages viewed, tools used, AI credits consumed, and basic device and browser details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service — including processing uploads, generating stitches, and rendering previews.
  • Manage your account, plan, and AI credit balance.
  • Respond to your messages, requests, and support inquiries.
  • Improve and develop the Service, including our AI and digitizing features.
  • Protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and security threats, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Your Files & AI Processing

The files you upload are processed to provide the Service to you — for example, to analyze a design, generate stitches, render a preview, or produce an output file. We do not sell your files, and we do not share them with third parties except as needed to operate the Service (see "How We Share Information" below).

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You can delete your designs and files from your account, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — trusted vendors who host, store, and process data on our behalf (such as our cloud hosting, database, and authentication providers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of EmbroidAI, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users where required.

6. Data Storage & Security

We use reputable cloud infrastructure to store your data and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain data for longer where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or anonymize it.

8. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. We may use privacy-conscious analytics tools to measure performance and usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect some features.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data. You can:

  • Update your account details from your dashboard settings.
  • Delete designs and files you have uploaded.
  • Request account deletion or exercise other rights by contacting us at info@embroidai.com.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at info@embroidai.com or through our contact page.
